I think the surprising thing given the SST, it's just as cold in west
Cornwall (see Culdrose) Of course, there is a snow cover up there.
However, there is now little snow left in Penzance and it still
dropped to a record smashing -4.3.

Picture in the papers this morning of surfers in westsuits trudging
through the snow down to Fistral (Newquay)
where there was 2-3cm down near the beach

Seems to be a shallow low just north of west Cornwall now
