Another dump similar to the night before. -11.1 C at grass level. We
may miss most of the action today but i will be getting Stirling
reports so they may get an exciting day (for a change).

I don't fancy your chances of making it to Stirling. We've had 11cm's
here in about 2 hours of snowfall this morning taking us up to 6
inches (15cm's). Going by the radar - Edinburgh / Stirling / Perth
must be pushing a couple of feet!

After 2 hours of clearing the drive we got the car out and went to
Ballinluig - the main roads were mostly black on the way there (around
10 miles due east) and white on the way back after a heavy snow
shower.. I dont think the radar is doing a great job of telling the
story - looking at us now you would think it would be belting down but
we are just getting the odd flake.

Stirling has only a few inches, Gleneagles area around 7 inches,
probably 4 at Dunblane.

ok, now it really is belting down. doh!

Sustained heavy snow now. Just cleared a couple of shed roofs and
moved the car down the village. Schools will be off tomorrow and a
distinct possibility of being snowed in with the inevitable power cut.
Be careful what you wish for!

Yeah, looks like several hours of very heavy snow for you Brian.
Good luck
