There are 2 problems.

Figures I post come only from sites that report synops, as those are the
only figures readily available online. The really coldest places may be
"non-synop" sites, like Llysdinam.

Synops for the minimum temperatures are reported at 06.00 UTC. At this
time of year, the actual minimum may occur after that time, and so the
minimum temperature reached even at a "synop site" may be lower than that
mentioned in my post.
