Default Very Rare - Isles of Scilly Snowcams

A very rare sight http://www.tregarthens-hotel.co.uk/w...town-beach.php

Virtually no way out of Penzance by road this morning, apart from the
main A30 east. Amazing, as no fresh overnight snow 2 miles to the SE.

The moors above Madron had about 3cm snow last Friday/Sat night,
5-10cm Monday morning and a similar amount last night, with little
thawing above 100m.

The strip of moderate to heavy snow affecting the tip of Cornwaal
shows up well on the radar http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html
and shows no sign of stopping. A very similar set up to last Friday/
Sat night, but it's even colder this time (and no thunder yet).
