As one who knows, I can assure you that train spotting is considerably more
exciting than this weather, at least it was in pre-Beseeching days. I didn't
have an anorak as they were a later import from Norway. The beige coloured
duffel coat was the "de rigger" train spotter apparel of the early 60s.
