Glasgow reporting -13C and Edinburgh -12C at 5.20pm, halfway in
between them here and so is the temperature.
Records could be broken tonight.. I think Glasgow's is -19.8C, not
sure about Edinburgh.

.... not sure how complete my figures are, but for Glasgow (Abbotsinch
/ Glasgow airport), I have a figure of -20.0°C credited to the 30th
December, 1995, the same date that the -27 was recorded at Altnaharra.
