Here in Reykjavik the frost got down to -10, but on snowless ground
it felt bitterly cold at times.
And you Anglo-saxons are having a real winter, a typical Icelandic
februar weather in England.
Scotland got much colder and than Reykjavik in normal winter.
But the tide is turning for Reykjavik, the next few days with
temps around +5 to +8 and some rain.
it will feel warm after the frost.

Speaking as a Celt, may I ask you what Germanic tribes make up the
Icelandic? Zer Vebwericlod?

know; the Scandinavian and the British population is the main source.
