Just out of interest - as I lived there then but wasn't yet recording -
what were the lows in February 1986 and January 1987? Presumably it
was even colder then?
Been an interesting day here in Leicester. Min at 8am was -9.4C. Max
-1.8C.
But shortly after sunset the temperature started to rise and some fog
formed, reaching almost -2C at 9pm, but is now falling again under a
clear sky. Pressure rising slowly throughout. Interesting!
