Default Perfect winter conditions - High Dartmoor

Last nights trough was just what was needed. Perfect langlaufing
conditions across Dartmoor today. Average depth 4-6 inches, up to
10inches (minimal drifting) on the higher spots and perfect, dry
powder snow. We managed about 10km with the high spot at Great Links
Tor (586m). A blue bird day - strong sunshine, minimal wind (apart
from at the highest elevations) and unlimited visibility.

Another similar day in store tomorrow after some modest consolidation
of the snow pack over night tonight.

Currently -8.6C, DP -9.6C in Dartington, South Devon. A -12C night may
be on the cards unless the medium cloud shield from the advancing
depression to the south corrects the fall.

Perfect winter!

Wow!

Fantastic, well done! Dartmoor winter sports are go.
