Default [WR] 20/0800Z DEC 2010 -SN West Moors/E.Dorset

... (0730Z): first gentle flakes of snow falling now ... no impact
as yet surface/visibility, but with ground surface solidly below
freezing, anything coming down will lie immediately.
Overnight minimum -6.6°C//current OAT = -1.5°C. Little wind.
Traffic (light/no schools) passing OK currently.

.... (0800Z): now steady, but still light, snow: OAT = -1.4°C, light
wind - visibility now affected but still reasonable ~ 4km (probably
some BR element making up the majority of visibility reduction);
surfaces beginning to pick up a snow cover. Traffic still OK ... local
bus passed ... only 5 minutes late.

Martin.
