... (0800Z): now steady, but still light, snow: OAT = -1.4°C, light
wind - visibility now affected but still reasonable ~ 4km (probably
some BR element making up the majority of visibility reduction);
surfaces beginning to pick up a snow cover. Traffic still OK ...
local bus passed ... only 5 minutes late.


.... (0900Z): continuous PPN .. mainly slight past hour but short
period moderate snow; visibility now down to ~1500M (combination
snow/general reduction due mist/haze); new cover snow ~1 cm, total of
all snow mean= 2cm, but odd pockets max 3 cm.
OAT = -0.8°C//DP = -2.6°C. Traffic still OK .. steady but light ..
many decided not to bother I think.
