As anyone noticed the typo on that website, instead of Dumfries, it's
Dumfried !

On the subject of clangers, I've been watching the film Battle of
Britain, and the scene where Robert Shaw and Ian McShane came out of a
cottage, I noticed there was a plastic doorbell on the door frame.

Was there plastic door bells or even electric door bells in 1940?
