Sorry Paul but I think you were caught between a rock and a hard place.

Given the way any snow is seized upon and looked forwards to in the NG, it
was inevitable that some would be disappointed to hear you say that its
going to be a mild winter again, in your opinion. Plus as your forecast has
been looked forwards to for a number of years, to hear you didn't think it
was worth your time and effort, it must have been, to those who wanted your
forecast, like telling a child Santa doesn't exist....

Don't forget everyone, that Paul did this forecast as a favour. If he
decides its not worth his time and effort as it will probably be much the
same as the last few winters, then ACCEPT it. He gives his reasons, be
thankful Will does such a fine job on here...
