Yes, the 00Z GFS and ECM seem rather to have swapped places, with the
GFS now bringing in zonality and the ECM not.
Having said that - the EC appears to drag relatively warm air off the
continent to what we might expect from such an ESE'ly:

Yes. That's at 850mb, though, and I imagine that it would be pretty
chilly near the surface.
