A proper ice day, everything covered in the stuff. Freezing fog,

Thick freezing fog all day, max 0.2C now back down below zero. Little
snow melt. 12cm Met O site, 16cm Lead Mill.
Good chance of full cover all month at the Lead Mill (and since 24th
November.)

Hi Ken.
Thick fog all day, but a max here of 1.0, so ice has eased.
No idea how much rain fell last night, as the gauge froze, but there
was some wet snow at times.
100% cover here, but some thaw and as at the Lead Mill, cover since
24th November. Can't see it surviving until 31st, which would be a
shame, as have never recorded a calendar month with snow cover - and
not likely to!
When was the last December with snow cover throughout????
