Hi Dave, I've noticed in the last few evenings that I have taken to
putting a jersey on over my tee-shirt.

Like the mice, except their jersey is our house. The CH has been
kicking in once or twice a day this week, noticeable increase in oil
consumption. Needed pullover under padded shirt outside this afternoon
around at around 13C.

Lovely and warm by day but cools off quickly in the evening.

Yes, there is still a lot of heat in the sun but gets chilly quickly
once it goes or in the shade.

Day max. today was 17.4 deg C and felt warm in the sun but now down
to 11.5 deg C in cloud and feeling a tad "nippy".

Temperature (to 2100)
Min: 4.4°C at 06:16
Max: 15.5°C at 15:04
Avg: 12.0°C

9C at 2147, fairly cloudy about 3,000' (just onto the top of Cross
Fell) or was before the light went.
