Here's my two-penneth. Given the recent colder weather and the "so
much for global warming" at least in this part of the world, I found
this paper of interest. Quite a short one, so maybe not enough for 15
minutes, but may raise some interest.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Richard, that paper does look interesting. It may only be 6 pages
long, but I'll have to give an overview at the beginning of the talk
anyway (for those who don't have much weather/climate knowledge), so
it will probably be about the right length.
