Dave,
You seem to have forgotten that winter is all but over, and in a few
days time (Tues in fact) it will be Spring.
This season I have experienced winter in its full glory at home and
abroad and now eagerly await a glorious Spring which is on its way,
even to the SE.
Do not dispair, I saw the sun above a wonderful sheet of stratus
before landing at Heathrow the other day.
It will break through, take my word for it.
