After the surprisingly cold afternoon yesterday (max 7.1 despite
prolonged sunshine from 11:00) today is much, much warmer.

Unbroken strong sunshine & a deep blue sky have resulted in the
temperature rising from 0.9C overnight (with a ground frost) to 12.4C
around 12:30 - the max so far.

So 5C warmer than yesterday, and with lighter winds as well it feels
very different.
