Mostly passed close to the E of me close to the W edge of the city.
Thunder first heard 17:48 BST, by 18:45 or thereabouts several visible
flashes a minute and nearly continuous thunder to SE. Passed close to
the E, not much rain here, though it got pretty heavy for 10 minutes or
so. . Thunder stopped by 19:30 though still very dark to the NE.
