Default Snow ramping, not by me though

I was 11 in 1963 and in Manchester we had hardly any snow, being well sheltered
from the east. My best snow memory was in Dec 1981 driving back home through 30
cm of snow on the M4 around Heathrow after doing a night shift at London Weather
Centre! And of course the very brief Haytor blizzard of March 11th 2003 :-)
