Default rain all day ??

Possibly because there was a lot of rain that has come after a drought,
hence people now know that drought conditions have eased and can infer
that the farmers will be less likely to have problems with harvests.

The drought in the SE is a regional issue, keep it to the regional
broadcasts. The affects on farming is relevant nationally but not "Oh
wasn't the rain bad this morning? It took me 2 hrs to get across
London Bridge".

Up here we are still waiting for summer to start, it's been
unseasonally cool. Indeed April had more days above 15C (14) that all
of May and June combined (8). When are the presenters in the SE going
to mention that?

As for dragging race, ethnic mix or WHY you into the argument. That
only happens when people know they havn't got a proper counter point.
