Again, lumping a large group of people into one stereotype. That is the
sort of thing I expect in the comments section of the Daily Mail; it is
depressing to see it on a scientific newsgroup.


It is a generalision for sure and obviously not all southerners
feel that way but it is certainly the impression I get. As Tudor
points out, we can blame the media but if that is the case
you can understand people upp north feeling the way they do.
