My cousin, who lives in Casa Grande, Arizona (roughly halfway between
Phoenix and Tucson) said the weather there is really nasty just now.

When I was at sea and on a ship anchored in Port Said waiting to transit
the Suez Canal we were hit by a sandstorm which forced us to close down
all
ventilation. Not a pleasant experience.

It's the rainy season there if that helps.
