Hmmm where do I start? A very busy day at the council today, I mean by
12:25 just before a typical council lunch break (two hours he he he,
oh how I love socialism) I'd already corrected 32 spelling mistakes on
various news groups and that was UK.Contrary.******* alone , Hells
bells why are there so many people not as clever as me out there-never
mind that's life even though I find it intolerable.

*It was only the fact that I'd been able to make twenty long Range
Forecasts today that took the *nasty edge right off my frustration.

*Another jolly plus about today was getting a chance to speak to Mr
Bodgitt from the planning *and building control dept about turning
down that Will Hands application for a Howard Hughes design wood shed.
It's far too big and besides Will is a better forecaster, is better
looking, has a better beard than me and is far too popular . I think I
may have swung it with Mr Bodgitt when I pointed out that Will's beard
was even *thicker than his wife's!!!!!!! That really got his dander
up.

Okay must go now after finishing at 4 CMT (that's Council Mean time
which is two hours in front of GMT; its time to relax and let the wife
pamper me. Alphabet Soup first course I hope her spellings correct I
don't want to send her to bed early with no supper again.
Okay must go as I have another two hundred weather forecasts to make
before cocoa and lights out.

So you have a cushy life. If only you knew how widespread was
the practice of posting from work (a phenomenon of which I have ample
and contining proof even though retired) I don't think you'd have
felt the necessity to regale us with your latest musings.
Furthermore, I have a beard, though alas of higher albedo than
formerly.
What was the weather like? It was alright in Sydenham on
Tuesday night (warm, stuffy, normal, 8/8 Sc, nice for a fag outside).
Why weren't you at the Golden Lion to hear Dick Pearce, not the worst
jazz trumpet player in the world by some distance. Wossa ma ' ' er
wivvier. Cloff-eared or sunnin(k)? I dunno.

weather to speak of. Sorry)
