From the rainfall radar, there seems to be plenty of heavy rain around
on the high ground of Cornwall and North Devon this afternoon, looks
somewhat of a risk of flooding in places but no mention of this on the
Met office website and no warnings are out.

Perhaps I am mis-reading the signs but it does look ominous for some
places.

There is heavy rain right now here in Stithians, 10 miles SW of Truro.
Temperature has dropped to 13ºC

And now I can hear thunder rumbling in the distance. I haven't seen any
lightning yet.
