I personally detest the google or other web interface, but then I'm an
old fashioned text-based UseNetty computer geek :-)

Just Google for a little program called 'Quote Fix'.
This will sort your quoting issues when replying to Google Groups users.

I used to use quote fix but it no longer works with windows mail newsreader.
