Gavino's contributions are always welcome. Especially when Spain is
having "interesting" weather.
Thank you, Alan.
I wasn't sure if anyone was interested in Spanish weather, so it's nice to
get confirmation that at least one person is!
I only report something when it's at least a little out of the ordinary.
Make that at least two.
Weather knows no national boundaries and it's always
interesting to hear what's going on elsewhere in the
world, even if it's not coming to the UK.
Well, if you're interested in south-west France, we too have been having
record temperatures: I think it got to 42 along the Garonne valley
yesterday, and it was 36 up on our usually breezy hill above the
Dordogne. Flat calm, humid, minimum temp was 25 just at dawn. Inside our
old stone house (built into the rock, damp and cold in spring and
autumn, no central heating, uninhabitable in winter) it was 24. Our
neighbours in a converted barn registered 35 in their loft bedroom. It's
a little cooler today (just 30 at 10am) and cloudy.
No doubt Gavino will be along to give us more details
about that storm in mMadrid that blew the Pope's skull cap
off, and won't be put off by the Tibbs idiot.
Longing for storms here. But we're clearly not True Catholic enough to
draw the Lord's ire....
Nor are we having a festival - did you see the awful account of the
storm at Pukkelpop?
