UKMO forecast, through local BBC TV yesterday 1800, gave heavy daytime
showers with more persistent rain in evening for the SW. This was
correct for Wembury. A couple of deluges around midday gave 9 mm.
However, a few miles away in Plymouth they only had 0.8 mm. Such is
the challenge of forecasting showers on this scale.
This evening has been more universally wet, but probably not across
the whole of dear old Cornwall.
