Default 2011 summer not a good one.

I think this weekend has just confirmed my view that the summer June/
July/August 2011, has been abismal! This whole weekend I've been at
the Southend Garden Show, tomorrow as well, and although showers only
appeared about 14:30 on both days, I can't believe how cold I've felt.
In fact today I put my long johns under my trousers, had a vest, T-
shirt, sweat shirt and fleese and still felt cold. My comment to some
of my colleague exibitors was "Not a bad day for December"

I agree, it's been abysmal - very few warm days at all. I could
probably count them on one hand and have fingers left over. I reckon
we've only had half a dozen odd days which have crept over 21°C since
the third week of April, and only two or three that would qualify as
pleasantly warm. Very disappointing!

It's failed my bare foot test completely. I've not been able to nip out
onto the lawn or out the front to the Ice Cream van at all in bare feet
this year. Such a pain having to put something on your feet :-(
