... we're quite a way from you (in Berkshire), but we too had 0.2mm of
rain (measured in standard gauge) and there *was* rain in the night which
the radar either didn't pick up or only presented the odd pixel (at least
in the resolution I have ... higher res. may have got it). For you in
Kent, the radar will often have difficulty in picking up such from a
low-level source.

You should also bear in mind that you may have had 0.2mm sitting
in bucket (topped up with the odd dribble of dew or fog-drip)
since the last time it rained. I occasionally notice that a heavy
dew will tip the bucket at the AWS at Hampstead for this very
reason ... one of the many small disadvantages of AWSs.
