Default Blackberry ~ weather images .... ?

I'm looking for some fairly small in size files that will open fairly
quickly on my Blackberry. Basically three images, which are single
frame not animations of:

1. Rainfall Radar
2. IR Satellite
3. Vis Satellite

Anyone with any advice on this one as it would be very usefull when
I'm out and about determining whether rain was imminent or not.

Or ther maybe some other useful apps.

Many thanks

"Weather Home& Abroad"

For radar:

pda.meteox.com/

gives a radar "loop" of NW Europe. I know you wanted still rather than
animated, but the file size is still low, especially given the quality.
It initially shows as a small square on the display but the image is of
sufficient quality to bear zooming in. At first sight it appears white
on blue, but closer examination shows intensity colours ranging from
very pale blue (light) to deep purple (downpour).
I have found it good enough for local forecasting - it has aided some of
my "weather assessments" for our cricket club this summer.
File size varies according to weather - can be as low as 35Kb if little
on radar to exceptionally 60Kb if heavy showers cover much of Europe.
The file size shown after the BlackBerry "Requesting..." can give an
indication of the situation before the image comes up.

For IR satellite:

accuweather.com/m

opens a page where you can set your location. Once done, Option 2 (which
says Radar/maps) goes to the IR satellite for this part of the world.
File size is similar to the meteox above, but I am not at all sure that
the registration of the satellite image over the ground map is accurate
for the UK. You will have to be the judge of that.
Initially this is a "latest" image but can be animated - the animation
does not add much to the file size. And at this time of year, the
"Hurricane centre" option is worth visiting as well.

Never looked for a visible satellite image.
