Oh yes we have! We can certainly do with the rain here, but as to the
amount and extent; I think it's a wait and see. "Prolonged torrential
rain" is not what the MetO are presently forecasting, but like I say,
let's see.
So many people out today! I think they've seen tomorrow's forecast and
they are making the best of what is probably the last weekend that has
anything like summer weather. Nice out there. A mild breezy southerly
and 17C. Pleasant. However a steadily falling barometer with a
southerly and increasing high and mediium level cloud never augurs
well!

We'll see. the first proper storm for ages, hopefully! It certainly
looks wet. Windy too! A steady force 4/5 presently and it has backed
ENE.
The rain looks to be arriving a litttle quicker than forecast. Some
patchy stuff appears to have reached you already, Len.- Hide quoted text -

Total 32.7 mm in the 24 hrs to 1800 in Wembury.
No record broken.
Oct record stands at 39.8 mm on 11 Oct 1993. Obs began in 1985.
