As is often the case both sides trying to prove their case by presenting
the scale that most suits their arguement. It's laughable that the
second graph is doing exactly what the first graph is being criticised
for! Didn't the sceptics say that the upward trend shown prior to that
wasn't happening? A more realistic scale would be 1950 to current then
people could make up their own minds in this rather simplistic discussion.
Either way it would be nice if it does prove to be slowing down,
although worrying if increasing CO2 was not the the cause of the
hitherto steep rise in global temps.
