Not seen conditions like this for ages!

Roads are atrocious, awash with water which is blowing in the wind. manholes
have blown and I saw one accident coming back from a badminton match in
Newton Abbot. Trees are down, power is out in places, and still it comes
down, over 40mm and counting. Bit quieter now in the warm sector (10-11C) at
2215 but the rain is lashing in torrents against the window again. Offical
forecast tomorrow is for snow and high winds above 1000 feet asl, bring it
on!
