The first proper snowfall of 2011 has occurred! The snow started at
about 05:30 this morning, but it was only very light, and by the time it
stopped at 07:00 we had a light covering on all surfaces except the roads.

In the past 30 minutes it's started to snow again, quite heavily, as can
be seen by the intensification of the rain/snow band on the radar.

I am currently holding off cycling to uni as the roads and pavements are
a slushy mess and really slippery. I'd rather not break something just
before christmas!
