BRACKNELL (TF)
0900 SW F4 25km -SHRA 3/CU 4/SC 7/CI T043D020
RMK: Quite bright - the visibility is prevailing; in direction of
shower (-SHRA) it is more like 15km; Other cloud in area Ac - the
stratiform medium and upper clouds quite thin, and cirrus not
particularly 'frontal' in character. The sun is trying to shine!
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 02.2 grass min: -00.4 precipitation: tr
other data: tr = 'trace' from shower in progress ]=
BRACKNELL (TF)
1200 SW F4 40km - 1/SC 6/AC //CI T063D038
RMK: there are two distinct layers of AC - the one reported is around
8000ft, and some more (thin) around 14000ft; Not sure how much cirrus
above, but certainly not full cover and largish 'blue' bits seen; the
shower reported earlier was of little consequence=
BRACKNELL (TF)
1500 SW F3 35km - 1/SC 3/AC 7/AS T068D040
RMK: After a reasonable day so far, sky now looking much gloomier: the
SC (around 4000ft base) is distant to the NE, the AC
(altocumulus/~12000ft) is running in from the SW (presumably ahead of
developments to come) and the AS I judge to be from thickening/lowering
CS - base well up around 16000ft - can just see a CONTRAIL through it.
There is genuine CI as well just visible through the disappearing gap to
the NE. 'Looks like rain' is the general picture of the sky=

[Wind speed .. Beaufort force]
[Visibility .. metres / 9999 = 10km]
[Weather groups .. if any]
[Cloud layers .. amount/type]
[Screen temperature/T .. degrees/tenths]
[Dewpoint temp/D .. degrees/tenths]
