In places above about 800' snow is beginning to accumulate. Reports from
the Gwent area speak of heavy snow on the heads of the valleys region.

Even here on the S. coast of Wales the temperature has been steadily
dropping and is now down to 5 degrees C.

Not yet here at 860 ft, although the rain is on the turn I think with temp
dropping from 3.8C to 1.6C between 8pm and 10pm. Now at 1.7C.
