Very sad news, indeed. I never met Paul and knew of him only through
u.s.w.
Like several of us here, he originated in the "pencil and rubber"
generation of
weather forecasting and later in his career was able to expoit the
developing
technology. He was clearly an enthusiast for his craft. The "Bartlett
High" is
a fitting memory.
