Default [OBS] Luton Sun 19 Dec 2004 COR

0730z NE F3 25km 5Ac150 7Ci250 01.5/00.2 1009.2
RMK Very disappointing ... it only rained gently for
a few hours on Saturday evening here.
0900z NE F3 25km 1Sc050 4Ci250 00.9/00.0 1011.2
RMK Just a trace of Sc in the distant NW. The sun
is shining ... a rare event this month ... only 16.3h so
far since Dec 1.
1200z NE F3 25km 1Sc040 03.1/-01.5 1014.2
RMK Traces of Sc and Ci
1630z NNE F2 25km 1Sc040 01.4/-03.5 1018.3
RMK Traces of cloud at various levels from Sc to Ci
5.2h sunshine today.
1900z NNE F2 25km SKC 00.8/-03.2 1020.8
RMK SKC = sky clear as far as any human bean can tell
The temperature will drop much more slowly tonight up
here on this hillside compared with down in the valley.
2230z WSW F2 25km SKC -01.0/-03.0 1023.2
In the valley (113m amsl) it was calm at -3.2 at 2200z.

Starting today I'm switching to the coded method of reporting
cloud heights ... eg 150 = 15000ft, 250 = 25000ft. It takes up
less room.
