1) None of my computers is misconfigured, and there is no problem with
my timestamps being incorrect. Some of my computers are simply not set
to the same time zone as yours.
I think therein lies the problem. Your time zone is set to European time,
but you are posting with GMT in the headers. Thus the news servers (or
local PCs) are correcting by subtracting an hour and all your posts have
times an hour behind others.
If you set your clock to European time (in line with time zone), then that
problem would disappear.
