Default [WR]_West Moors/E.Dorset_30JAN2012/1025Z -RASN (RE-SN)

... been raining much of night since ~0200Z, with latterly gentle sleet
falling (since roughly 0545Z ... haven't kept constant watch): total PPN
so far 3.5 mm / OAT = 1.4°C: no impact on surfaces or visibility (apart
from the surfaces being damp of course).

... (30/0900Z): continuous since above, always light and often just a
few 'flakes'; very short periods of 'genuine' snow, but no impact on
very damp (and above-zero) surfaces: visibility still workable ... misty
... OAT = +1.6°C//DP = +0.7°C.

.... (30/1025Z): PPN continuous - large part of the time 'proper' snow
(i.e., getting caught up in spider's webs and not melting), but no
impact on surface or visibility. OAT = +1.4°C//DP = +0.3°C. The drop in
the latter value indicating the gentle advection of drier
(lower-dewpoint) air from the southeast.

PPN now very light - few wet/melting flakes: raw.

Martin.
