A reasonable amount of rain this month has done nothing to alleviate the
drought situation in East Anglia. 46.8mm so far this month is just about on
par for a normal yearly total of 660mm. [Last year saw a total of 377mm.]
But that has not even put a dent in the shortfall we've had over the last 18
months. Alarm bells are now ringing at Anglian Water.
