Of more interest, at even closer timescale is the Low in the North Sea
which could bring snow to E areas on Friday evening

Yes, this seems to be firming up a bit now. Not sure if it will survive
the two days it has to though. Also on the 10.30pm forecast they seemed
a bit more bullish about the snow from the breakdown.
