Accurate here in Portsmouth too - As was forecast for coastal areas, just
cold rain with barely even a hint of sleet in it.

Perfect 10/10 for met office forecast of 10cm snow, but as I said in
another thread, no bloody gritters out till after midnight.

Yes, same here, 1/10 for gritters.


So why is this?
They can't claim that they weren't warned, the forecast was
broadly correct. Yes, it took until 48hrs before the event
for the Met Office to 'firm up' on the details, but this should
have been more than ample warning.
