RMK: A winter wonderland this morning. 9cm of fluffy snow with
drifts to about 50cm.

1700z WNW F1-2 3000 BR REFG 8St003 +02.0/+02.0 1029
RMK: Not a bad day. Clear and bright during the morning. Intermittent
fog in the afternoon. With very little wind and the temp around +2 for
much of the day it didn't feel at all cold while out walking. A very slow
thaw all day but still 6cm of lying snow. The reduction in depth is
probably more a result of compression than of melting. Max temp 2.3
