This may seem insignificant but the east wind has really picked up here in
the past hour despite predictions of light winds today. Also a build up of
cumulus. Temperature has fallen back down to
-1.0C at 1230, probably giving us an ice day. It makes me wonder if the
advection of colder air from France has been underdone by the models in
relation to the warm front/triple point coming in tomorrow?

Odd. Synops at 12:00 and 13:00 across Devon are showing 4 to 7kts
SE'ly, including Liscombe at 348 metres. Berry Head easterly 5-8kts.

I'm supposed to be travelling back into London on Sunday from Kent.
We'll see.

Stephen.

Hardly a breath of wind here in Dawlish. A beautifil winter's day,
with 2C and mostly blue skies. Haytor has its own microclimate. *))
