I suspect the temperature will not rise much more before the arrival of
the cold front. Rainfall now moving into north Devon & Cornwall but some
sunshine is still managing to hang on here.
Yesterday (17th)
Min = 8.4°C
Max = 12.2°C
Rain 0.0 mm
Sunshine = 2.7 hours.
The February mean temperature is climbing quickly back up, now at 4.3°C..
If the forecasts turn out to be correct, this month could end up like
December & January, i.e., above normal and that would make this winter
overall, warm, dry and quite sunny.

Only a few spots of rain in Penzance this morning, enough to dampen
the ground, though not measurable.
Rain proper started 12:15. Looks like it will only last around 90
minutes.
Mean temperature here now 5.2C. It will probably end up warmer than
