anybody know where i can get a cheapish RH measurement device. Preferably stand
alone, i.e. not requiring 240v, with digital or similar readout. must be
portable.


Oregon or cheap clone devices with remote temperature and RH sensors are almost
"de rigeur" as a Christmas gift this year.

Go to any large mall and try John Lewis, the Gadget Shop or similar.
