Mine went from 4.5C to 6.1C about the same time Scott.Don't forget you
can look in any of the other Cumulus websites and click on trends to see
if there were similar patterns. Ron's near you levelled at that time and
then dropped again.
Nevertheless, contrary to Peter Gibbs Countryfile forecast 12 hours
earlier it was a cold and grey day with a max of 9C.

That's strange, Dave, it was beautifully sunny here from 11.45am. It
wasn't terribly warm but was pleasant enough while I was digging the
garden. Don't know the max as yet as I left for work just before 3pm -
will update later

Not realy when you look at the sat pics Scott. All the way from Lincoln,
all of East Anglia and East Kent had a dreadful day despite the East
being forecast as most likely for sun. You were just about far enough
west to get the break in the cloud as did a lot of the South, West and
Central England.
